" I feel much safer on the streets, thanks to Chris his trainings!"

What is the SOS-System ?

The SOS-System stands for Survival On the Street System and It has been developed by Christiaan Dekker. Christiaan Dekker has trained several systems and has experience in the Security sector. He also gives seminars for police personel. The systeem has been build using several techniques from other close combat systems, like Krav Maga, Systema, Knife Fighting, and Reality-Based.

Why SOS-System ?

Today the newspapers report a lot about robberies and violence on/in the street. To deal with these kinds of situations the SOS-System has been developed. The most important thing with SOS-Sytem is that you first try to resolve a conflict verbaly. But also remember that stress and fear also are a part of a confrontation. There are different excersises and drills you can practise to help you in those kind of situations.

Why would you choose for the SOS-System?

In a short time you can learn simple techniques you can use in different kinds of conflict/dangerous/explosive situations. To train as real as possible we use scenario's and roleplaying to enact conflict situations. The techniques you learn can then be tested in these realistic roleplaying conflic situations, so that you are better prepared when you get into a real conflict situation.

Reality-Based Personal Protection System

Jim Wagner's Reality Based Personal Protection is created by Sergeant Jim Wagner. It is a system where you train self-defense as real as possible. During Reality-Based training, you will learn 3 things. They are: Pre-Conflict Training, Conflict Training, and Post Conflict Training. Furthermore you will train scenario's, to clarify things. During training you wear your normal clothes, to make it as real as possible. Reality-Based training contains several disciplines. These disciplines are explained below.

Defensive Tactics
You will learn everything you need to know about attacking, blocking, conflict stances and conflict movements. In a real conflict you will use a few effective techniques, the rest is mental.

Ground Survival
This part will teach you tactics. You will learn how you must dive out of the way when there is gunfire. Several ground conflict positions, defend against attacks, the use of weapons from the ground and recovery techniques.

Knife Survival
Hundreds of ‘elite’ units around the world are trained in the Jim Wagner Disarm Rule. You will learn attack angles, criminal and terrorist techniques and also a lot of conflict drills.

Crime Survival
All self-defense techniques come together. You will learn step by step how to survive in modern day conflicts. Conflicts like armed robbery, attacks from gangs, carjacking, attacks with chemical weapons, aggression in court rooms, etc.

Terrorism Survival
There are only a few instructors trained to teach this discipline. Jim Wagner has performed anti-terrorism missions for the government of the United States of America after 9/11. This training teaches you how to survive the most common terrorism attacks.

Conflict Conditioning
During this discipline you will learn several drills that different militarily and police people learn all over the world. You will learn the German GSG9 power exercises, the French foreign legion punishment exercises, the Moroccan power exercises, and also SWAT confidence exercises and lots more will pass during the training.

Scenario Training
During this training we separate us from many other systems. Here you will learn with the aid of light/sound effects, decor pieces, scripts, to train as realistic as possible. Further more you will learn to train safer, but still realistic.

Control & Defense
During these exercises you will learn how to best escape most common choke holds and from there on to control. Further more you will learn how you can save people from hostage situations and for example from a burning building.

Improvised Weapons
One Mind One Weapon. That’s the mind set during the training of this discipline. You will learn to fight with everything you have around you at the moment. These can be objects or real weapons, but no fire arms or knives.

Handgun Survival
What happens when you have a fire arm, you took from your attacker? Do you know how to safely handle a fire arm, for yourself and the people around you? During this discipline these things are discussed and trained.
